Who We Are
Paragon Green LLC is a joint venture between Classic Computer Recovery, Inc. and 5R Processors – two industry leaders in electronics recycling and electronics de-manufacturing, respectively. Paragon Green LLC is an e-waste recycling business with downstream partners in place to manage obsolete equipment disbursement and re-distribution through the entire recycling loop.
Our IT asset recovery teams and recycling specialist work with corporations, school districts, government entities and solid waste agencies to divert hazardous e-waste from curbside disposal.
One Simple Goal
We are committed to providing responsible solutions for addressing the global e-waste crisis, and we are dedicated to decreasing the environmental impact of all the computers and electronic products we collect by embracing the five “Rs”– Reuse, Recover, Reclaim, Refurbish and Recycle.
Environmentally and Socially Responsible
Paragon Green's computer and electronics recycling program is a full-circle, end-to-end market managed recycling solution that supports a zero e-waste environmental agenda. Unlike some of our competitors, Paragon Green does not ship to other countries raw, hazardous e-scrap – including lead-based glass found in televisions and computer monitors (cathode ray tubes/CRTs). Our lead-based glass de-manufacturing process solution is the only true recycling, environmentally sound process (“glass-to-glass” processing).
Garden City, MI-based Classic Computer Recovery is a Hispanic, women-owned business founded by President and CEO Linda McFarland in January of 2002, and has quickly become one of the leading asset recovery and electronics recycling companies in the Midwest.
5R Processors, LTD began its first operations in an abandoned cheese factory in Ladysmith, WI, in 1988, processing "end-of-life" electronics including large main frame computers. Since then, 5R has provided full service materials processing and recycling to companies and government agencies throughout North America.
